2022 Tax Season
The HFA tax team is ready for the season. We have compiled resources and worksheets to help you collect and prepare your tax data for filing. Please visit our Tax Tools page to download the documents. In addition to being available online, tax packets for existing clients were mailed out the week of January 23, 2023.
The IRS will begin accepting returns on January 23, 2023. Taxes are due on April 18, 2023. To meet this deadline, please have your information to us no later than March 31, 2023. If received after this date, we may have to file your taxes on extension.
For accuracy and time efficiency, we are encouraging that all documents be provided to us in advance rather than having the returns prepared on the spot. If you prefer to deliver your return data electronically, please contact your tax preparer or our office and we will email you a secure link.
Starting this year, we will be delivering your final tax returns electronically through SafeSend Returns. SafeSend Returns is a user-friendly and highly secure technology solution that allows you to manage your tax returns from the convenience of a computer, tablet or smartphone. When the returns are delivered, you will receive an email from High Falls Advisors at noreply@safesendreturns.com. If you do not see an email from High Falls Advisors at noreply@safesendreturns.com, please check your spam or junk folder.
