A Mission to Remember

In June, our very own Carmen Sacco, Technology Director at High Falls Advisors, had the incredible honor of participating in Honor Flight Mission 96 — joining 59 fellow veterans on a journey to Washington, D.C. to visit the military memorials that stand as a testament to their service and sacrifice.

Carm was accompanied by his son, Travis, who served as his guardian for the trip. Waiting for him back home were his wife, grandson, and other family members to welcome him with open arms.

Carm served our country in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Structural Mechanic during the Vietnam era, and like so many veterans of his generation, never received the homecoming he deserved — until now.

Upon returning to Rochester, the group was greeted with something truly special: a true 'Welcome Home.' In Carm's own words: "Emotions ran high from a grateful bunch of vets like me."

Thank you, Carm, and thank you to all 59 veterans on Mission 96. Your service will never be forgotten. We'd also like to thank the Honor Flight organization for making moments like these possible.
